His Eyes

Oh, so cold
As I beheld his frosty blue eyes
All I saw was cold
Cold
Cold
So, stone, cold

His eyes were cold, frozen
So full of scrutiny
Devoid of feeling
Irises of ice
Soul of snow
Frozen feelings

But I loved his eyes
Beautiful eyes
Mystery eyes
Confusing eyes
His eyes

I wouldn't say I loved him for his eyes
But that was certainly part of why
It was those confusing, closed off eyes
That taught me to see
